Getting Started
The Proper Plan is balanced for lighter meal, accounting for evenly distributed macronutrients. The High Protein Plan prioritizes protein, and we increase portions on your meal to ensure you are hitting your high protein goals. You can view the macronutrients for each meal on the Menu page. Click on the meal you would like to learn about, and view the macronutrient info for both the Proper meal and the High Protein meal for your selected menu item.
Our meal plans simplify healthy living by providing fresh, ready-prepared meals. We handle the shopping, prepping, cooking and delivery. Our meal plans helps you achieve your health goals.
We deliver on Wednesdays and Sundays. The cut off orders for menu changes are the preceding Friday. Your first meal plan arrives within a week of ordering, and you can modify future orders up until the cutoff time.
Our meals are always fresh. We deliver them and maintain temperatures during transit. Once received, the meals should be refrigerated immediately and are good for at least 7 days. We recommend enjoying them fresh for the best quality.
You can view our current menu without providing any personal information! On a desktop or laptop, just click, "MENU" at the top of our homepage. On a mobile device, click on the dropdown menu at the top of the page (3 horizontal lines), and click on "MENU."
Plans start at $12 per meal, with a minimum plan of 3 meals per week ($36/week). You can select up to 20 meals per week.
You certainly can! We really try to make it easy to manage your subscription, so if you need to take a break from our delicious meals or you decide that Proper Meals isn’t a fit for you, all you need to do is log into your account and you can cancel your subscription there.
While you can cancel at any time, canceling your subscription does not cancel existing orders. If you cancel your subscription before the weekly cutoff time indicated on your My Menu page, no automated order will be placed for delivery the following week. If you cancel your subscription after the weekly cutoff time and an automated order was placed, that order cannot be canceled and you will receive it the following week. After that, however, you will not incur further charges or receive future deliveries from Proper Meals if your subscription is canceled.
Each meal feeds one adult for one meal. Our meals will vary in nutrition facts and ingredients, so always make sure to check this before ordering each week. You can view a full nutrition label and list of ingredients for each meal by clicking on the image of the meal on our menu page.
Some of our breakfast options work well to be split in two for a lighter breakfast.
When you place a subscription order, you will receive an email with a link to log into your Customer Account. You can edit meal selections anytime before your weekly cutoff, 11:59pm PST on Fridays.

There are two ways to access your account.
After purchasing a meal plan subscription (during which you provided your email) you will receive a "magic link" button giving you direct access to your account.
(As per security limitations, it automatically gets expired every 7 days).
Each week, we will send you a reminder email that your plan is renewing. That email will also contain a "magic link" button, that will take you directly to your account where you can update your preferences.
If you are having trouble accessing your account via your email link, you can access your account another way:
You can create an account directly on our store and log in to it. When you do, you will see the "Manage Subscription" button. Clicking it will lead you to your customer portal, where you can manage your subscriptions.
If you are still having trouble after trying both of these methods, reach out to us on our contact page and we will get back to you within 48 hours.
Receiving My Meals
Meals are delivered in BPA-free CPET plastic containers.
Meals stay fresh in the fridge for 7 days.
Yes, our packaging is recyclable. Specific disposal instructions are provided for each component.
No, meals are delivered to your address.
Enjoying My Meals
Meals are pre-cooked and require reheating in a microwave or oven. Our packaging is safe to re-heat.
While we can't customize meals based on specific ingredients, you can view and modify your weekly meal selections in your online account. Our menu lists full ingredients and nutrition information. Make sure to check your account before the cutoff at 11:59pm PST Friday each week to ensure it reflects your desired meals.
We currently do not offer family portions, but we may in the future. Check out our website for updates. Or select a plan with a higher number of meals per week, to feed the whole family, up to 18 meals per week!
Yes! We switch things up seasonally, and menus are updated as often as every two weeks.
